Topic: RME, you have saved my life.
It's all too easy to come to a company's Message Boards with complaints so here's the opposite.
Battled with various different USB and Firewire devices over the past 5 years... tore my hair out over my last PreSonus Device (AudioBox VSL 1818) RUN LIKE HELL FROM THAT THING.
Now I can run all my previous sessions at 32 sample buffer, 4 separate headphone sends out, all my processing still working in Pro Toolsm on mixes that previously would need to go up to 256 or above!
Later on I was teaching guitar, using pro tools for Guitar Rig, reaper to play back a multitrack backing track, and youtube to play back music all in one half hour lesson. Along with switching desktops with Dexpot (looks quite swish). It diddn't bat an eyelid while all the apps were open and the buffer was set at 32.
You have saved my life RME, it's taken me this long to realize this is the setup I need to truly forget about my interfaces and start making music again!!
