I use Panasonic DMP-BDP110 Blu-Ray Player and Fireface UCX on my MacBook Pro. I put optical audio cable on my Fireface UCX ADAT input using Blu-Ray Player. How can i encode 5.1 sound to 5 analog surround output using ADAT input. How can i settings this on my MacBook Pro TotalMix FX program.
At this time i listen ADAT input "pink noise". Anyone some help me:)
This won't work, sorry. The UCX can not decode AC3.

Use powerdvd software on the mac as that decodes the dts ac3 dolby digital (or whatever til format) to lpcm.
You shouldn't have any problems then.
Rme are missing a trick here. Same for games.
That answer doesn't help at all. Seems to me you did not understand the OP.
The OPs trying to decode bluray audio, be it dts or dolby digital (not encode as he describes) No RME can do this.
If he uses power DVD and an external Blu Ray USB drive (macs don't support bluray natively)
It will work as the software will do the decoding and will pass lpcm to the RME.

Can't you get one person from your team to try and play some game in 5.1 then let us know if it'll work?
It will take all of 10 minutes.
You just forgot to tell the OP that he needs to install Windows on his Mac...
He could do it that way but he doesn't have to.
