Topic: hdsp connection is lost after return from system suspend

i am running a multiface I via pci card here with linux mint debian edition presently.
i am able to use the card via jack successfully (after starting jack and opening the hdsp mixer once).
however, when i suspend the pc and resume - the red light is lit on the front of the multiface and the connection is lost.

any idea how to reactivate the box after a resume/suspend?

ah, i just saw that the red light is now off and jack can connect to the card without me having knowingly changed any settings or rebooted..
however, no sound emits when i when i play audio through the driver and no movement is seen in the hdsp mixer.

Just a guess ( as i dont have the multiface), could you try "alsa force-reload" as root in a terminal?

I'll just scripted that the module (snd-hdsp) unloads before enteringn suspend and reloads after resume. This works fine in my htpc

Alsa force reload method won't work,even I had similar problem. In my opinion, you should contact your Linux Solution Provider these problems can be resolved by them only.
