Topic: multiface 1 with multiface 2cardbus?

Hi - I bought a multiface 1 with PCI card when it was new,  now I'm wanting a (used) PCMCIA laptop card and thinking to get the one that is for the multiface 2, because it has a standard firewire type connection and so doesnt require a special cable.. will it work with my multiface 1 box?

There is no "multiface 2cardbus" - any combination works...

(it's advertised as 'multiface 2 cardbus' and so I was unsure if the newer cards were backwards compatible or not)
