Topic: Multiface I + Sonnet + Thunderbolt compatibility on MacBook

Is this Multiface I compatible with the Mac OS 10.9.1 + thunderbolt + sonnet adaptor+ RME HDSPe expresscard 34 configuration?

Mid 2012 MacBook Pro retina with thunderbolt ports.

I've updated the HDSPe card (Serial 23121283) to latest revision 20.  Drivers are at 3.07.

The HDSP settings app shows my Multiface I as connected however the host sync light blinks and I'm not getting sound out of the box.  The TotalMix shows computer outs 1+2 having signal however the analog outs, including A1.1 A1.2 (connected to my monitors), with frozen level meters (i.e. the looks like random levels frozen on the meters).

It looks like there's only partial communication happening since the HDSP settings app is not complaining.  Looks like the Multiface box has a problem.

Tried a couple different cables, including a known-good one.

Please advise.  It would be glorious to have this baby working on my laptop.

thank you

PS I've been using this Multiface I for years on my PPC  with PCI card.

The Multiface and its drivers are compatible. Tried different power supply for the MF?

And use only Apple Thunderbolt cables. E.g. Belkin Thunderbolt cables don't work.
