Hi, first of all, thanks for the use of this forum and the help.  Glad to be a new member.  I recently installed the HDSPe  MADI card and now in my MIDI setup, using Digital Performer, I get many many extra icons showing up for one instrument.  Have had this setup for 15+ years and the only change is switching out the MOTU 424 card for the RME card to use MADI.  I took a screenshot, but don't see a way to post pics here.  The reason I am concerned is that DP is taking a very long time to load projects, both small and large- even new projects.  I am wondering if it is "searching" for these ghost instruments.  If I delete them, they come back after opening/closing a few projects.  Otherwise the card has performed flawlessly so far.  Just wondering if anyone else has seen this.  Thanks very much.
