Topic: RayDAT plus HDSPe AES: some trouble

I have a ASUS Board P7H55D-M EVO running with a RayDAT since years. Now I installed a HDSPe AES beside it. Works fine when it works. The RayDAT works always, but the HDSPe AES only sometimes. When switching on the system mostly the HDSPe AES is not visible. Even in device manager it is not visible. After a reboot without switching off the computer usually everything is fine. Sometimes it needs two or three reboots until it works. Once it is up and runnig there are no problems.
Operating system is Windows 8.

Try a different PCIe slot.

Tried another slot, no change. Sometimes it works, mostly it says device not connected.

When I open device manager, the HDSPe AES is not visible, only the RayDAT. After switching on "ausgeblendete Geräte anzeigen" there are two HDSPe AES visible.

PCI-Bus 1, Gerät 0, Funktion 0
Dieses Hardwaregerät ist zurzeit nicht an den Computer angeschlossen. (Code 45)

Schließen Sie dieses Gerät an den Computer an, um das Problem zu beheben.

2.
PCI-Bus 7, Gerät 0, Funktion 0
Dieses Hardwaregerät ist zurzeit nicht an den Computer angeschlossen. (Code 45)

Schließen Sie dieses Gerät an den Computer an, um das Problem zu beheben.

Is the AES updated to the latest firmware?
Have you tried it in another PCIe slot or computer?

The AES has firmware 9.0. The driver is version 3.40. As I have written before, I tried it in another PCIe slot.
