Topic: Crackling when moving HDSPe Mixer faders

Hi,

When audio is playing and I move the output faders in the HDSPe mixer I am getting a crackling, is this normal behaviour?

Thank you all for your help.

Best regards,

Darren

Hello,

yes, a certain amount of "zipper noise" is normal, since the volume control takes place in small steps, not continuously.

Re: Crackling when moving HDSPe Mixer faders

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for your reply.

I'm using Cubase 7.07 with the RME Raydat Card and the RME ADI-2 and have question you might be able to help with.

I am getting a pop when pressing play and also one when pressing stop anywhere in an audio file? - I read something about DC Offset.

It only happens when pressing play and stop and also if I loop some audio at the end where it repeats - I just have one audio track loaded in Cubase.

Hope you can help.

Best regards,

Darren

Re: Crackling when moving HDSPe Mixer faders

Hi Matthias,

Thank you for your message. I'm not sure of the firmware number, I know it's the latest one though. The driver is the 3.40 release.

I will check the firmware number soon.

Thanks again

Best

Darren
