Topic: MackieUniversalController

Can someone please tell me if the Totalmix of Fireface can be fully controlled bij the Mackie Universal Controller Pro?
I'v seen a lot of messages about this but nowhere was this question clearly answered. It seems that now today the new Mackie can communicatie by USB and not only bij MIDI. Can the user with the faders on the Mackie adress every fader in the Totalmix?

Communicate by USB = MIDI software ports = MIDI. No change...

I understand that the communication by USB in fact goes through MIDI. But anyway, is it wright that before there was no possibility to communicate by USB, without any MIDI interface?
