Topic: Multiface 1

Hi All,

Apologies if this has probably be answered before, and I hope its not a stupid question...

I've got a Multiface 1 which I connect to an old laptop using ExpressCard.

My new laptop has no Expresscard slot (just USB2 and 3), and most new laptops seem to lack ExpressCard slot these days.

Is it possible to adap my Multiface to work with USB3 in some way. Or is it possible to buy a USB3 to Expresscard slot adaptor?

Or - is the Multiface 1 ready for the bin?

No way to connect to USB, and if "most" laptops no longer have Expresscard, then that means that some still do...
As for the bin - try ebay first, someone will surely appreciate a well-kept MF...

What is your current equivalent of the multiface 1 should I decide to get a new audop interface, and what sort of money am i looking at?

For USB, take a look at the Fireface UCX, Fireface UFX, or Fireface 802.
