Topic: Loopback question

I think I used to be able to loop back and bring up the level and send to a different out, so I could have as many EQs and Compressors on a single track looped around and around as I wanted.

With the latest version of Totalmix, it seems that loopback works if you are recording in a DAW, but that we can't just bring up the level and route to the next pair of outs within Totalmix.

Is there a parameter I'm missing that makes it work the old way?

Re: Loopback question

Loopback NEVER went to the mixer input, only to the ASIO recording. That said you must have used cable loopback, maybe digital (ADAT) to achieve that.

Re: Loopback question

Thanks for the answer, MC.

I definitely get crazy enough with my cables to have just THOUGHT I could.

You see what I was thinking... that I could use the routing and loop back to stack the EQs and compressors if I wanted to.

Makes sense you don't allow it.
