Topic: RME have something like the Apollo 16 or Antelope Orion in the works??

Hi Everyone,

Long time RME user.. UCX,FF400 & 800 and Multiface.

None the less I find myself needing more than the 6 analog outs that my UCX. I want to add a  summing device of some kind (e.g.dangerous or Fat Bustard/Shadow hills)  in a simple 1r solution... So i'll need more than the UFX (8). I know I could built this with a a couple RME units added to my UCX and get the same ADAD, but I want to avoid complications. 

This has lead me to look at both the UA Apollo 16 and Quad (has a dedicated monitor out put so 2 more than the UFX) and the Antelope Orion 32. I'm wondering if RME has anything similar in the works??

If there was something in the near future that RME is making that addressed this need I'd wait - I've had a good experience using RME product with Sam for the past 8 or so year and don't see a reason to change.

If you added an ADI-8 DS, it would add another 8 outs and ins at analogue for half the cost of the Antelope..?
