Can you tell me ..

Where on the Mac is the info that tells TotalMix FX what Workspace to  load at startup ?

In User, Library, Preferences, RME TotalMix FX (basically same as under Windows, having the exact same files in there). If you cannot see the User Library click on the Finder's top menu Go and hold down the Alt key.

Thanks for the info.

What exactly is  the role of the default file ?
Can it be utilized as an common starting point for Totalmix FX, if filled with proper content, and copied to other use accounts ?

I guess the last. file can't be used for this, as it contains a serial number as part of the name.
