will the fire face 802 ever work with the iPad app?
(Assuming this means, will the fireface 802 ever work in class compliant mode?)

This is RME's official  info in the iTunes store, which I saw first:

*** ATTENTION: This app works only with the RME audio interfaces Fireface UFX, UCX and Babyface! Without these devices the app is useless! ***

Might need an update on the Store then... This is just to warn people against buying it if they don't have an RME USB device at all...
