Topic: two independent digital outs from HDSP 9632 (SPDIF or AES/EBU only)

I would like two independent digital stereo outputs in a form of SPDIF (coaxial or optical) and/or AES/ebu from my HDSP 9632 PCI card. I cannot use ADAT. I need either SPDIF or AES/EBU.

Could I use the optional breakout cable (BO968) for this? Are the AES/ebu and SPDIF outs independent?

If not, is there a way to get two independent digital stereo outs?

Not possible, sorry. You could use the RME ADI-4DD to convert ADAT to 4x AES/EBU.
