Hi,

I went away for a week and powered down the rack, including an 003R and an ADI-8 DS. When I returned and powered up the rack, the ADI-8 DS now exhibits a strange random light blinking behavior.

The Input Lo  green light blinks fairly regularly.

Oh, wait…..after 10 minutes of more or less random blinking, just as I was typing the previous sentence, all green and red input lights flashed together a few times and now the front panel appears to be showing lights properly.

The ADI-8 DS normally precedes a Digidesign 003R. When I bring up a Pro Tools session. everything appears normal now.

The gear is in a relatively clean environment and air conditioned. I've had it for at least ten years. #003295. Should I;

1. Be freaked.
2. Power down and pull the ADI-8 DS, open it up and exercise any cable connectors inside by unplugging and replugging.
3. Email the forum…oh, did that.
4. Move along, nothing to see here……

PS; the ADI-8 DS has helped me make a nice sounding living for the last decade (or more)….thanks for that.
