Topic: FireFace400 totally bugged!

Hi !

I've just bought the FireFace400, and when I try to make it work, it does not work...

I've installed all the drivers, and then, I've all the elements in the picture below in error...

-RME Fireface 400
-VIA Enhanced USB Host Controller
-USB Universal Host Controller VIA Rev 5 or subsequent
-Same tongue
-Host Controller compatible OHCI1394 (inherited)[/center]

Sometimes, I also have a blue screen, with the following error :
"STOP 0X0000003B (0X00000000C0000094, 0FFFFF8800ABD5964, 0XFFFFF8800CD8FA10, 0X0000000000000000)
fireface_64.sys - Address FFFFF8800ABD5964 base at FFFFF8800ABBE000, Datest amp 4d0b8bcf"

Did someone could help me?

Je viens juste d'acheter le Fireface400, et je n'arrive pas à le faire fonctionner...

En effet, j'ai installé tout les drivers, plusieurs fois, et je rencontre toujours les mêmes erreur, comme sur l'image ci-dessus.

De temps à autres, j'ai aussi un écran bleu, indiquant l'erreur suivante :

The problem change, now only the RME Fireface400 does not work... I've tried to install drivers manualy, without succes...

When I launch the "Fireface_fut_400.exe", nothing happens (I think it must be display a thing like that : http://www.rme-audio.com/support/install/ScreenShot016.jpg)

Post-script : I'm using windows 7 64bits.

What happens if you temporarily disable the AMD audio driver, and the RealTek Audio driver?

Some time ago, I discovered that there was an incompatibility between the Fireface and the RealTek driver on my (XP SP3) system. Updates to the RealTek driver fixed this, but even so, I usually run my system with all unnecessary drivers disabled.

Another source of problems for me has been NVDIA graphics drivers being incompatible with RME's. Your images do not show what graphics hardware you have on your machine, but I thought I'd mention this. Here, the more recent NVDIA updates made the problem worse, so I have reverted to an earlier driver, which does work.

Yesterday, The Fireface seemed to work, but when I oppen the Recording Device Manager, my computeur bug, and then the following message appears :

Make sure to use the "High Performance" Windows power profile (default is set to "Balanced").
