Topic: Tray Icon (Fireface.exe) Firmware Error Message (UFX)

HI Matthias,

I always use the latest drivers and firmware.
Suddenly, when clicking the FF tray icon, an error message says:
"This driver version requires at least firmware revision 2.77. Please download ..."

I installed the fut_usb again (it was already updated) to 351/139/340, but still can't access the UFX settings dialog.

Please advise.
Thanks.

Which driver exactly do you use? This error message points to a wrong identification (FF800 instead of UFX). Something suspicious shown in the Device Manager?

This one:
Windows 7 32/64 PnP driver for Fireface 400 / 800 / UFX, version 3.047. 06/21/2011
https://archiv.rme-audio.de/download/win_fire_3047.zip

In Device Manager everything is okay. Shows version 3.047, no yellow warning mark.
The card is working and I can play, record etc. Only the Settings dialog does not work.

Note:
When connected using USB, the dialog appears with no problem (with firefaceusb.exe).

Hi Matthias,
After restarting the computer this issue is solved.
I'll let you know if I can reproduce this case again.
Thanks.
