Topic: 'Drivers missing' after Windows Update. Help!!

Multiface 1 with PCI card interface on PC with Windows 7.

PC did an automatic Windows update. Afterwards, the Multiface ceased to function. Red light stayed on, the Hammerfall desktop and Mixer wouldn't open, and there was a Drivers Missing message.

I did a System Restore to an earlier configuration and its working fine.

How can I install the Windows Updates and keep it working.

Any helpful tips would be much appreciated.

Simply reinstall the latest W7 driver.

Thanks. If only it were that simple.

I have the driver version 329, but in the Multiface manual it warns, "do not attempt to install the drivers manually".
So I've powered down the PC and removed the card.
Booted the PC so that it knows the card isn't there.
Powered down the PC and replaced the card.
Booted up the PC expecting 'New Hardware Wizard' to appear. It doesn't.
What do you suggest?

Download the latest driver (3.38) and run the installer file.
