Topic: Mapping MIDI Total mix

I would like to map total mix in a midi controller :

The faders of 8 tracks ; the mute ; the solo (8 faders + 2 buttons per track)
The EQ : Gain db Low ; Medium ; Hi, (3 knobs per track)
Eventually the reverb ; delay (2 knobs )

Is this layout envisageable?

Thanks!

Re: Mapping MIDI Total mix

These are your choices:

8 faders  - see manual, either Mackie protocol or CC. Mute and Solo per channel - only Mackie protocol. EQ - not supported. Reverb/Delay On/Off (or any controls) - not supported.

Using OSC it is possible to control all these. But most probably your MIDI controler does not support that protocol...

Re: Mapping MIDI Total mix

Depending on what you need to do, it may be possible to work around TotalMix' MIDI implementation limitations using Mix Snapshots - you can use up to 8 of them and recall them using MIDI messages (notes).

As for the faders, it's a bit easier, see the second post:
