Hmm, when looking at the Octamic XTC, then its CC mode makes it possible to use the XTC as 24-ch audio interface.
And when looking at the ADI-2 Pro/DAC, then it can also be used in CC mode without RME drivers.
From my understanding (could be wrong, never tried it) a RME interface with CC mode should be able useable in Windows without ASIO driver (but then without TM FX which would need the ASIO driver installed).
