If nothing changes, contact the retailer, please...
Hello, I've sent it to Thomann a few months ago, they sent it to AudioAG. In the test, the ADI-2 worked without problems.
However, I started to have the very same issues after 2 or 3 months. So I bought a new power supply. Same.
Every time the power plug was correctly connected (inserted with the locking mechanism exactly into the matching slots and turned so that the plug is fixed and cannot be pulled out)
I think my unit is defective. Especially because I encountered this the very first time I turn it on.
It is very strange because this behavior is unpredictable (that explain why they could not detect it when tested)...
I have found that when I change the frequency selection very quickly as soon as the power is ON, the unit is sort of stabilizing then it doesn't restart in loop anymore.
I really think there is a component that needs to be serviced in my unit.
So now I must re-sent it again tomorrow, but I'm afraid it will be the same scenario (strange behavior not happening at the test bench).
So the reason I write you is because I'd like to found a solution to this problem if they could not detect it. My warranty is valid but ultimately I will need a brand new functional unit...Please help me with this, it is very frustrating because I love this unit.
I made two video of the issue:
