Topic: Is everything MIDI controllable/mappable

I am think about getting a Fireface UCX II, and have some questions about MIDI control. I looked at the manual, and it doesn't look like you can do what I want, but I want to make sure.

The advertising says Totalmix is MIDI controllable. I would like to use a 16 knob MIDI controller and control Totalmix like a live mixer; control input level faders, control EQ fully, and effect sends.

Is this possible or are only certain parameters mappable?

Re: Is everything MIDI controllable/mappable

Download the manual from UCXII product page. There is a chart on p.84

ADI-2 DAC, ADI-2 PRO, DigifaceUSB, UCXII, ARC, HEGEL.h80, KEF.ls50, HD650, ie400pro _,.\''/.,_

Re: Is everything MIDI controllable/mappable

I already looked at this, so to clarify, or maybe i'm reading it wrong wink This page relates mostly to Mackie control, I am interested in regular MIDI control. The available mapping options are the same?

So no full control over eq parameters or fx sends and parameters? And only the first 8 channel faders are controllable?

Re: Is everything MIDI controllable/mappable

Full control is only available via OSC. MIDI can not control the EQ/FX.

@ razzkazz

with midi notes E1,F1,A#1,B1,C2 and C#2 you can move those 8 controls around.
