Topic: How to get an initial workspace within TotalMix FX?

Hey there.

I am barely new in the RME world.

I've done quite a few changes and saved it to my workspace. Every time I start TotalMix, this workspace is loaded.

Now, I want to start to reconfigure my whole setup. For this I am looking for a way to get a blank, initial workspace (with blank snapshots and so on).

How can I do this?
I've found the "Options > Reset Mix", but in this case, the Snapshots aren't cleared.

There is the possibility to perform a total reset followed by e.g.
- Straight playback with all to Main Out (mapping of "Main Out" to a HW output stays)
- set inputs mono / outputs stereo (ADM)

Sadly the channel width and opened tool submenues can not be reset as well.
This would be very practical.

Sorry, I can give no recommendation which config files to remove to issue a full reset, but without loosing maybe still useful settings (like e.g. EQ settings, TM FX preferences).

See manual, delete the file devicenamelast.xml file.

I couldn't find this information in manual, I checked several (UFX+, UCX II, BBF Pro FS, UC) by searching for "last.xml".
Also not in the TM FX online help. Maybe this information got lost?

UFX+ chapter 25.7.1. Same for all other interfaces, with respective names.

Many thanks, Matthias, so the filename was a little bit different, therefore I didn't find it.
