Topic: No sound in my headphones (Help!)

Hi, i got the RME babyface pro FS.

Installed total mix fine and configurations from the web site. Windows 10 pro.

Both in total mix and rme babyface pro fs interface body i can see that the fader works fine and moving up and down when listening to something through youtube or whatever.

In my all headphones ( 3 headphones ) there is no sound at all.

Please help. It cost me a lot.

Re: No sound in my headphones (Help!)

Sounds like a routing issue, did you make yourself familiar with TM FX routing in submix mode?

https://forum.rme-audio.de/viewtopic.php?id=34394

In particular: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcWClPViBm0

Each HW output has its individual routing/submix for monitoring.
1. ensure submix mode is enabled
2. select HW output for phones
3. move fader of HW inputs / SW playbacks as needed.

I clicked sub mix, all tracks and PH levels are working fine in ( HW inputs and Software playback )  sorry and also HW outputs are working fine

For the routing of audio, it's irrelevant whether you put the HW outputs to the TM FX control room.

But it's useful to use the “Assign” button to assign
— HW output of main monitors to “Main Out”
— HW output of phones to “Phones 1”
Then you can use control room features, like e.g., DIM etc., for your main monitors and phones.

It didn’t work, can you please do it for me through any desk app.

But can I adjust levels of phones and monitors through the i interface directly without the use of total mix app? Except for mic level.

Re: No sound in my headphones (Help!)

Sure, check the buttons on top of the Babyface, and read the manual. You select the source and control it with the dial.
