I have been trying hard…
Big sur/hdspe madi fx/ ax32 DAD/Logic Pro x
All latest drivers installed
I get output from logic on channel 1/2
I see madi output in ax32 matrix on channel 5
Logic input is set to madi 5 on recording track
I get output signal on 1/2 software playback in total mix

Make sure you have granted access to Microphone in the Mac System Prefs > Security & Privacy > Privacy tab. In Mac OS, Microphone means "audio input". All your DAW apps and TotalMix FX require rights for Microphone.

Just tried to do that and I can’t see total mix effect in security/privacy /privacy tab/microphone
I tried reinstalling the driver (without uninstalling it)and still I can’t see total mix in there (privacy tab/microphone
Any idea how I can fix this

TMFX only shows here for MADIface Pro and Babyface Pro, IIRC. These only use it for the reverb FX.
What about your DAW apps, did these have a checkbox?

I found out that on Mac OS Big Sur, I have to reset the driver by writing a script in terminal…
Will try that when I can…

Tried the drivers permission reset in Mac OS terminal in recovery mode….
Still can’t see rme total mix app in microphone/security/privacy after allowing it in security/privacy
Please help me rme
I’m about to return my hdspe madi fx card as after spending 2 days trying to get it working I’m starting to get desparate

I can’t see total mix in microphone/security/privacy/preferences in max os big sur…
I have been trying to do a rme driver reset as per the rme video (rme.to/reset) in the terminal without any success….I do allow it in security/privacy/general when prompted and still don’t see it in the security/privacy/microphone pane
This is why I suspect I can’t record in my daw
Please help me

Should I try uninstall the driver before trying to reset again
Does your DAW have access to the microphone? Have you tested other software to record, e.g. Reaper?
