Topic: Explain Input Level? (+4 dBu, Lo Gain, -10 dBV)

I have a dumb question, but I haven't seen it asked anywhere. I am running a DAKING Mic Pre One directly into the XLR inputs of the HDSPe AIO. What is the correct Input Level setting? I assume +4 dBu, but in what usage case should someone select "Lo Gain" or -10dBV"?

Would there be any reason to select a different option?
