Topic: Panning not unified (AN1+2) FF400

Hi.

I have routed on TotalMix my playback channels Out 1 + 2 to Outputs 1+2 (where my speakers are plugged).
my problem is that the meters show that Output 2 is 5-8dB lower than Output 1.
the meters on the playback channels are unified and panning is correct (R1L1) plus i have tried to play multiple programs to see if the root to the problem comes from there but that didn't help.
windows xp sound setting are correct too. HELP

Thanks !

Stating the obvious - Are you output faders linked - or at least set to the same exact level?  And are you in Submix Mode?

Try loading a mixer factory preset. If the level imbalance is visible in the middle row of Totalmix, then it's happening in your audio software.

Re: Panning not unified (AN1+2) FF400

You might WANT to be in Submix Mode.  There is a chance you aren't seeing the correct middle row "Destination" if you're not in Submix Mode.  I always use Submix Mode FWIW - it just makes Totalmix's vast power that much easier to manipulate IMNSHO...

Selecting the Preset should get you back to a known state as well...

Where do you see the imbalance? Please upload/mail jpg screenshots of matrix and mixer.
