Topic: Running ADI-648 ADAT I/O at 96k

I've decided to work at 96k rather than 48k that I used to work at. I have the MADI I/O on my ADI-648 working at 96k but the ADAT ports I use, which are connected to an Eventide H8000 is causing a problem. The Eventide is reporting a sample rate of 48k, rather than 96k. Do I need to do anything extra to make the ADAT I/O run at 96k ?  The H8000 is capable of 96k and runs fine using Wordclock input, but when it is clocked off the ADAT in (from the ADI-648) it says 48k.

Did you try with 96k frame on the ADI648?

Yes smile As I said, MADI I/O is running at 96k - it's just the ADAT ports which seem to be at 48k still

ADAT is limited to 48 k physically. If the Eventide has no way to switch its clock to  double speed or SMUX or similar, then it will not work.
