Topic: QuadMic II: Two outputs to (unbalanced) stereo TRS line-in

Hello everyone,

I'd like to connect two of the QuadMic II's outputs to a single unbalanced 3.5mm stereo line-in TRS jack on my computer using a short cable.

How should I go about wiring this up? Would it be correct to connect is as follows?

  • QuadMic Output 1 Tip -> Line-in Tip

  • QuadMic Output 2 Tip -> Line-in Ring

  • Both QuadMic Output 1 and 2 Sleeves -> Line-in Sleeve

The last point is the one I worry about. Is this safe? Is it perhaps better to connect just one of the outputs' sleeves?
