[large]#1.[/large] my first question its about the Adi-4dd & SteadyClock(TM) with a lower jitter ext. W.C.
my concern/fear about Rme Adi-4dd is that the SteadyClock(TM) will mess the hi.quality lower jitter Master WordClock signal
Ive seen that some RME products have a "follow clock" on/off feature "i assume its an SteadyClock(TM) bypass", but i dont see that feature reading the Adi-4dd .pdf manual.
i dont understand yet, how the SteadyClock works in the Adi-4dd without an internal W.C.
i just want to remove all jitter, "not nearly" from my synths that does not have a W.C. input::

i probably will use the Adi-4dd + 4x behrnger src2496, becouse i dont know if Alesis Ai-1 its 24-bits or 20-Bits or 16?
or the new Lynx Aes16e-SRC or Rme aes32
or... one of each brand of hardware SRC to test A/B and sell the ones i dont like::

z-sys zlink96+ has same chip as z3src & lucid src9624, cs8420, "the important its whats surrounds the chip",

or similar units with W.C. input like tc electronic finalizer plus/96k
there are other adat--aes/ebu boxes, i know of: Aphex 144, discontinued Alesis Ai-4 & Rme Adi-8dd, otari fs-96, mutec, digidesign 192 digital , etc...
Rme Adi-8dd seems more attractive becouse it comes with XLR i/os = save $250us. of the RME BOB32 or >two digisnake mh080 + hosa xlr-f - xlr-m
[large]#2.[/large] maybe ill consider the Adi-192dd if i see some Spectographs & RMAA tests vs. Adi-8dd & others, z-link96+, Mytek SRC, Behringer SRC2496, Lucid src9624, tc electronic finalizer plus/96k, Otari Fs-96, etc...
