Topic: Visualize MAIN as separated-individual mono channels.

Hello,

I'm working with a FF 802

Concerning the "Hardware outputs " section, is it possible to visualize  channels 1 and 2 not as part of  the "Main" channel but as two individual-separated mono channels (Analogue 1 and 2?) at the left of AN 3?

Can I get rid of the "Control Room" section and visualize the channels in it  as mono- individual channels?

I would like to visualize  the channels Analogue out 1 and 2 as mono channels , each one with its own different meter (just like analogue 3, 4, 5... etc.). It seems like the "Stereo" button of the "Main" channel is blocked, so, I can not split it .  I don't find any answer in the user manual or the video tutorials.

I'd appreciate any support here, thanks.

You either Assign Mains to None or to any channels you don't need.

Hey Matthias,
I wondered about this the other day and couldn't find the option when right clicking on 'MAINS' to select 'NONE'?

What RME interface do you have and which driver / totalmix version do you use ?

I have HDSP version 1.12 and have none for main out.....

I have a Fireface UFX, DSP-SW Version 1.63

Total Mix FX Version 1.40

I have the UFX+, but also TM FX 1.40.

Could you try to save your TM settings and then perform a complete reset of TM FX (Reset Mix -> Total Reset) ?

I regularly save my workspace as I treat the unit like a digital mixer (saving both snapshots and workspaces).

After re-setting the mixer the situation is the same.....there is no option under MAINS for 'None'.

Not all units support 'None'. That's why I wrote 'or to any channels you don't need.'
