I am researching options for a backup recording rig and wondered whether sending the Micstasy analogue outs to a UFX w/DURec (or similar) at the same time as recording the digital outputs (either ADAT or MADI) is immune from ground loops? 

Or would I be better off using a passive mic splitter to send the mic outputs to the Micstasy and UFX (with the Micstasy providing 48v)?
