Topic: FR: Remote of Micstasy from TotalmixFX

Hi all,
since long years we use some Micstasys for our recordings.
Now we just added a Octamic XTC. The ability to control the new Octamic over Totalmix FX is great. Could this functionality be added for the Micstasys as well? Would be great.
Esspecially since old interfaces (The old Madiface) are equipped with TotalmixFX that would make perfect sence.

If this is not possible, we have a very old wish:

Please update the MIDIRemote software, that it could controll several Micstasys in one instance of the software. To open the software several times to be able to control all Micstasys is really cumbersome.

By the way: The new Octamic is a great "swiss army knive" :-)

Just in case you missed that - like in DIGICheck you can save the 'several remote windows' as one Workspace, so it is one click and everything is there.

Thanks, I know this.
I quite often use the Ctrl.+Klick+Mousewheel to lower/rise all 8 pres of one Micstasy at once.
It would be so nice to do this for ALL Micstasys connected.

Its just a dream ;-)

Aktually, is this possible in TotalmixFX with the new Octamic? I am not in the studio right now to test this.

No, because you can't couple the gains in TM FX. And in MIDI Remote the situation is the same as with the Micstasy.

I dream of a solution, where I can controll all Micstasys as one big PreAmp. If I am sitting in the controlroom, I do not think in blocks of 8 - I think more in terms like this:
- Strings from channel 3 to 14
- woodwinds 15 - 18

So the blocks of 8 make no sens ;-)

Nice tip!  What other hotkeys are there in MIDI Remote?
