Which CPU / mainboard do you have currently ?
Do you use USB from chipset (AMD, Intel) or from 3rd party (ASMedia) ?
Did you try all USB ports including USB3 ? If USB3 is from chipset it can be the case that its better in compatibility mode compared to broken ASMedia implementations.
You could also try the Sonnet card from my signature. It has driver with a more efficient interrupt handling method, so called MSI (message signalled interrupts). By using this card you have the additional advantage to fully isolate UFX.
There can be side effects from other USB equipment, this you avoid by this.

https://www.sonnettech.com/product/alle … 3pcie.html (you need x4 socket on mainboard free, but then you have a dedicated USB3 chipset behind every port) I know you only need USB2, but the card is reliable with the MSI drivers and you have by this more options for the future. I connected 2 UFX+ (2 x USB3) and an ADI-2 Pro (USB2) to it. Then the side effects from other USB equipment (Blutooth adaper, USB3 Hub) stopped immediately.
If you only have one x1 PCIe slot free, then try this card, but then you should only use 1 port for the Recording interface and not use the other 3 free ports, as all ports share the same USB3 chip.
