Topic: Distoreted sound with XLR outputs
The distortion begins after few minutes of listening to music(RME Speakers).
I suspect this is a driver issue.
I have windows 10 version 1809.

No known "driver issues" here - which device does this refer to?

Babyface Pro, I guess. Check the USB error display in the Settings dialog, then check everything, from USB cable to different USB port to your computer's DPC performance. This is NOT a driver issue.
Yeah Babyface Pro.
Maybe it has something to do with my new Eaton ups(USB power)?

No error displayed on the software side.
Then it may be a software performance problem where the buffers go out of sync. You still will have to check your system...
Is there a way to tell whether it is a hardware issue?
Maybe the Babyface Pro itself is malfunctioning?
I guess only in laboratory it can be checked...
Can you test the unit with another computer or standalone (as DA converter)?

Actually I used it with some laptop only with headphones not long ago, no problems at all, with the same USB cable I use now.
How likely would you think that my XLR cables are the source of the problem?
I hope I'm not nagging with stupid questions...
Also when I use "RME Speakers", I see in Total Mix that it sends to some channel that I don't use and not connected to my stereo system.
(RME Speakers is for XLR outputs for my stereo system).
Oddly with the new driver I don't have this problem so far.
Also Windows 10 got some serious update lately.
