Topic: Upgrade to UFX II from Babyface Pro, glitches galore

Hi,

I just installed the the UFX II after years of successfully running the Babyface Pro. Now I get glitches every second on recordings which make the interface impossible to use. I updated to latest drivers, but could not run the flash utility, even if I allowed it permissions manually. Glitches are present in both Ableton and Bitwig.
System is Macbook Pro 16" running latest Catalina. No changes since running Babyface, using the same Caltech Digital Thunderbolt hub to run it I used with the Babyface Pro.

Any help?

Update: support told me the CalDigit causes troubles with RME interface, so I need to get a "normal" USB to USB 3 for the UFX II - will update if that helps!

CalDigit was the culprit. It worked fine with the Babyface because the bandwith is much smaller.

Allright, hope I won't have to come back.
