Topic: "routing target" control

Hello. I am looking to find out if there is a way to change routing targets using a keyboard shortcut, MIDI message, or OSC command. If this is possible please let me know.

Also, are there currently any plans to discontinue OSC support in TotalMix in the future? Thanks.

Kind Regards,
Kevin

Re: "routing target" control

OSC allows to select a submix aka hardware output aka routing target. OSC support is not planned to be discontinued.

Re: "routing target" control

OK. Thank you for your response and the in formation. However, could you tell me which OSC command this is? Also, your response suggests there is no Keyboard shortcut or MIDI control currently available for this purpose. Is this correct? If so, is this something that could be added? having a way to cycle through  these values on a given channel would be tremendously useful, particularly for those with vision loss who may have difficulty modifying this value with a mouse. Thank you.

Re: "routing target" control

I just want to add that I have found a way to modify the routing targets via Mackie Control. When using Mackie Control the record arm buttons for channels 1 to 8 will change the routing target to their respective outputs. However, a keyboard shortcut and MIDI control method would still be welcome for when Mackie control is not an option.

The Mackie Control method is described in any of our manuals. The latest OSC table is also mentioned in the later, updated manuals:

An OSC implementation chart can be downloaded from the RME website:

Thank you for the reply. However, this OSC table only contains a few cells. Are you sure this is the correct file?
