Topic: Problems with HDSP 9652 install SOLVED!

Just installed an HDSP 9652 (I bought used) on Windows 7 64bit. I installed driver 4.36 and driver shows up but not the channels. The cards are installed properly as far as I can tell because the ADAT out ligh up (it's minimal indication that card is OK).

The seller told me to run the flash update tool and I ran the fut_wdm_dsp.zip but it does not even run! I've ran the driver several times and restarted as many at least.

Previously I had the DIGI9652 running on Win 7 32 bit flawlessly.

Any tips to know what's happening would be really appreciated.

The card is not recognized in your system. What PCB revision is printed on the card? There have been old versions that require a hardware modification to run on newer systems.

If it is a digi9652 it will not run on 64 bit. If a hdsp9652 it will.

OK I solved the problem for now (I say that because it i snot hooked up to my ADAT AD/DA converters yet). I uninstalled the 4.63 drivers and installed the 4.29 drivers and it works now.
