Topic: [SOLVED] Total Mix - Bleed Sound Between Channels

Hi everyone,

I am having the following issue:

I want to use my RME UCX in a 5.1 speaker setup. In the Sound / Midi Settings:
a) I chose my RME interface
b) in the output section to set the speakers, I chose 5.1 Surround configuration
c) and then setup the following Channel order:

Left     Analog 1
Right   Analog 3
Center Analog 2
LS       Analog 4
Rs       Analog 5
Sw      Analog 6

Then in the Sound Midi Settings, by clicking on the Test button on each individual speaker I can see that, in the Total Mix, both L and C channels are bleeding/ feeding also into the R channel. The rest of the channels, including the R channel do not show this behaviour.

I don't know why this is happening and I was wondering if you could help me out figure this out.

Thank you in advance for your time and help!

System:

mac OS Big Sur

RME UCX, Firmware v46, driver v3.25

Total Mix, Digital Audio Workstation Mode

Check total mix for channel 1 and 2. Make sure you set it up the same way as 3 4 and 5.

Thank you for your answer Vinark, Daniel from RME helped me fixed this one. It was a matter of installing the latest driver for big sur.
