Topic: UFX+ wont work after re-power it

When i turn my UFX+ off and then turn it on, it won't work, the pc wont recognize the UFX+.
I need to restart the pc for it to work again
Also, if i turn on the pc before the UFX+ is on, the pc wont recognize the UFX+.
The UFX+ needs to be on before i turn on the pc...

I tried setting the "tounderbolt" option in the settings from "auto" and the problem still occur. I installed the last driver.

What should i do next?

Thank you

Re: UFX+ wont work after re-power it

Which firmware version is in the UFX+?

Also please try to unplug TB and replug instead of restarting the computer.

I updated now the firmware to the latest version and now it sometimes works and sometimes doesnt.

Repluging the cable didnt help. Its the same problem

Re: UFX+ wont work after re-power it

The RME  Support replied me this message:
"this is a PC/Thunderbolt issue, not one of the UFX+. TB is not Plug&Play like USB. This won't happen with a USB connection."

I have the Asus ThunderboltEX3 card. Can you please tell me how to configure it well? What should i change in the Bios?

Im adding a picture of my ThunderboltEX3 bios settings:

Re: UFX+ wont work after re-power it

Remove the TB cable and connect your UFX+ with PC with USB Type-B to Type-A cable. No need for any bios change there.

I know i can use the usb cable but i need the Thunderbolt to work.

Does Anyone have experience with that issue? What should i change in the bios settings?

Maybe try flashing latest bios, and see if it makes any difference.

I connected it with the cable that came with the UFX+ and I have a really good adapter that i bought from Amazon with great reviews.

A cable like this costs about 120$. I dont want to buy another one. Maybe its someting to do with the thunderboltex3 bios settings...

Re: UFX+ wont work after re-power it

The UFX+ does not come with a TB cable. What 'adapter' and cable are you talking about? Please provide Amazon links.

Ok, that adapter is the reference. In that case I have currently no idea what is causing this.
