I've finally received my ADC Module for my RME Ocatamic.
NOw I've installed it, but it doesn't seem to work.

I've got it running, but I only get pops & crackles when I try to record.

This is my setup:

I've got a RME Octamic D & Motu 2408 MKII

I have set it up like this:

MOTU Configuration:
Clock Source PCI-424: Internal
Bank A - 8 x analog input
Bank B - ADAT (inserted in port B in the back in ADAT in) and enabled all 8 tracks

Then on my octamic I have pin settings:
1,2,6 to the bottom and 3,4,5 to the top.

This should indicate that it takes is Clock source from the external device (the Motu 424 card).

I've got BNC & ADAT cable between both devices which should be sufficient I think.

But I only get pops and crackles!!

Anybody got a clue?

Please advice if it needs to be different..
