Topic: Babyface Pro IN3 Input Issue

Hardware :Babyface Pro FS
Driver version 1.219
Firmware:201
System:Windows10、11、Mac OS13

Recently,I found some problems withe the input IN3 on my Babyface Pro FS.When input a sine wave scan Frequency(20Hz-20kHz),IN3's frequency curve like work in very slow roll-off  FIR filter?High frequency drops very fast.

I conducted a replacement analysis of different output devices,OS,Plugs.I confirm the Bugs or Problems just on IN3 input.

I don't know if it's because of new Firmware?or Hardware Issues.

You recorded a sine sweep and it looks acurate as it should.
Nothing to complain.

The issue is right in front of your eyes - the left channel looses amplitude (level) at higher frequencies, while the right channel stays on track.

I am still not sure what that means exactly, as this sweep is hard (or cumbersome) to analyze. Also I see a lot of aliasing, so I wonder what was done here exactly.

There are many free tools that let you analyze the frequency response and give a plot that makes it easy to see any issues. Better use those.

L=IN3
R=IN4
Two signal is same(or switch plug)but recorded is different.I think it's the new Firmware's bug.The new Firmware maybe let IN3's A/D work at the different FIR filter.

It's not software's problems.

I tried to analyze your sweep file. There is no filter in the ADC that would result in 3 dB loss at already 20 kHz when using 96 kHz sampe rate. The slowest filter would have 3 dB at 40 kHz then.

So did you swap the cables between 3 and 4 to verify that the error is not found on 4 then?
