Topic: UFX ii, Cubase Pro 12, trying to set Cranborne 500ADAT as clock source

Hello,

I changed clock source to be ADAT 1 and on USB setting of UFX ii, it is all good to go.

But on my Cubase 12 setup, 'Clock Source' is greyed out, and says 'internal'.
But below, I ticked on 'Externally Clocked'

Also, 'HW sample rate' it states 48k (externally clocked)

Is this just bug on Cubase, or 'internal' cannot be changed..?

Any Cubase/UFX users would be so much helpful for me cheers!

Other settings are perfectly done on my side.

The audio interface's clock source is NOT set in Cubase, ignore that setting.

This setting is for Steinberg Interfaces.
They implemented a lot of their interface settings into Cubase.
Marketing strategy, make users believe they lose Cubase features without Steinberg interface.

Nope. This setting has been there forever. It is for drivers that allow external control of clock settings and latency (buffer size). When ASIO started Steinberg made it as flexible as possible. But both settings are unpractical to be handled externally, outside the driver, so they are found very seldom implemented like that
