Topic: RME UFX - AES/EBU loop record OUT->IN, possible?

Hi

I wanted do some tests, and need to record from port AES/EBU OUT on AES/EBU IN.  I have connected XLR cable, routed in DAW output on AES L/R  OUT but see no signal on AES L/R IN. 

What I missed?

Did you routed that signal also in Totalmix ?
You have to open Totalmix and route the signal from the DAW in the middle row (software playback channels) to the AES output (bottom row hardware output channels).

I'm not sure if it is a mistake, why is AES input set to Adat2 ? Shouldn't be AES input ?
And clock source is set to AES input ? Set it to internal.

Yes, you're right! This was the reason. Bad AES input in driver panel. Thank you smile
