Topic: Switching between 2 monitor pairs with their own EQ

Hey guys, so I just got the ADI-2 Pro FS R BE. I'm trying to have my main monitors on the rear 1/2 and my secondary monitors on PH 1/2 with their own individual EQ and want the ability to switch between them with the EQ switching as well. Is there a way to do that?

Thank you

Re: Switching between 2 monitor pairs with their own EQ

• SETUP / Options / Phones / Toggle Ph/Line: “OFF” - “Ph 1/2”
can switch between front / back, which includes EQ.
Set:
• SETUP / Options / Phones / Mute v. Ph 1/2: “OFF”,
for the front PH1/2 being permanently connected.

To assign a remote key or a device button, set:
• SETUP / Options / SPDIF/Remap Keys / Remap Keys: “On” or “ Remote”
and
• SETUP / Options / SPDIF/Remap Keys / [selected button]: “Toggle Ph/Line”

Switching 2 “Setups” is another way to go.
Wouldn’t work well if you run realtime audio through 3/4 and/or ADC, as the whole ADI-2 is reconfigured when switching Setups, causing mutes in this path too.

Thank you! And is there a way to set different Bass/Treble for L and R?

Yes, activate:
I/O / (...Out...) / Settings / Dual EQ: ON

Thanks for the quick reply. I already activated it and it does allow me to set different EQ settings for L and R but not Bass/Treble, if I boost the "B B" or "B T" on the right side it changes the left side to the same value, I can't set them to different values.

Try (too lazy to check by myself):
EQ / EQ (2nd press) / ...Out... / Load B/T w. Preset: ON

Be sure to have the latest firmware installed, there were changes in this regard.

Load B/T w. Preset is ON, it's weird, because I'm pretty sure I was able to set them separately for L and R in the first few days I had the device and then something happened where it won't work like that anymore. And I'm on the latest firmware.

Are you setting Bass / Treble in the EQ-window, where you find BB (= Band-Bass), B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, BT (= Band Treble)?

In the “I/O / Bass/Treble /... “-menu they don‘t split left-right, I think.

EDIT:
I just checked, bug (?) or intentional:
Bass / Treble does NOT have individual left/right, “Dual EQ” settings.

Re: Switching between 2 monitor pairs with their own EQ

That's by design. B/T is never per channel, on no unit ever built. The PEQ is. PEQ + BT = still BT.

Roger that.

As tone control -type nature of B/T, and in general sake of staying-functional, makes perfect sense.
