Topic: ADI-2 DACs - can you bypass its DAC?

Can you have the option to bypass the D/A conversion by ADI-2 DAC if one wants to use the unit as a pre-amp of sorts and use an external DAC sometimes?  Should digital input to digital output into external DAC do the trick here?

Yes, ADI-2 FS, ADI-2 Pro and ADI-2/4 Pro SE can feed an external DAC through their digital outs.

ADI-2 DAC is the model that doesn‘t offer digital outs.
It‘s Loopback function allows to route the DSP-ed signal back to a computer through USB, from where it could be routed further, but that’s a bit complicated.
