Topic: Asio Driver not active Cubase 11

Today I switched from my 2008 Fireface 400 to a Fireface UCXii.
Was immediately detected and could play music (Apple Music). Steinberg VST live also works (MIDI).
But in Cubase 11 I can not playback or record. It says "Asio Driver is nor active"
My USX ii is connected via SPDIF and Wordclock to Mytek converters.

Thanks for helping.

Re: Asio Driver not active Cubase 11

Foto 2 ASIO driver, what else can be selected ? Core-Audio ? Select Core-audio.

You are on a Mac computer and ASIO is a Windows audio system.
Mac has built in Core-audio wich is the audio system you have to use.
Then in the Mac system preferences Audio device, select the RME as input and output device.

M1-Sonoma, Madiface Pro, Digiface USB, Babyface silver and blue

This is what I can select: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xzbxenm3viafo … 6.png?dl=0

When I choose a different driver, I can't choose my inputs and outputs in my DAW

I managed get it running: I installed the previous driver (written kernel) this did the trick!
