Topic: FF400 driver stopped working on Macbook Pro M1

Hello,

till 2 days ago the Macbook Pro M1 worked perfectly with the FF400, no problems with all those adapter cables.

Yesterday the green LED for a working connection between Mac and FF400 was not lit anymore.
I tried a lot also installing again and again till I realized by checking System and Library folders that none of the files from the pkg was installed - security is reduced as required -  and the installation of RME driver was allowed in settings.

Now I'm lost, have no music and no budget for a new rme interface

Any help appreciated!

Thanks for reading
regards
Michael

Edit: forgot to mention that the latest macOS Ventura 13.4 is installed and with that version came the info that RME driver may stop working with coming updates/versions

You can download Totalmix here and put it into the applications folder in your mac.
Check out if it can run and at least let you play music ?

Oh, wow, thanks for that tip, it works.
Just do not understand how but that doesn't matter :-)

Thanks again,
all the best

Me neither.
Can you open the Fireface settings dialog ?
Also - check out the new Digicheck NG !

Totalmix opens and works fine,
Fireface settings open also ok,
DigiCheck opens but displays nothing (FF400 selected)

Re: FF400 driver stopped working on Macbook Pro M1

You have to select specific channels.

FF 400 - Babyface pro - Digiface USB - ADI-2 (original)
Mac mini M1 - Macbook pro - iPad Air2
