Topic: ADI-2 Pro FS R BE as active crossover

Hi,

This may have been asked before, however, is it possible to use the DSP in a Pro as an active crossover feeding 1/2 and 3/4 to woofers/tweeters of a pair of 2-way speakers, via a pair of stereo power amps?

My understanding is that it probably can be if the low/high pass filter are setup correctly in the DSP.

Has anyone done this or uses this?

Thanks,

David.

Re: ADI-2 Pro FS R BE as active crossover

ADI-2 Pro and ADI-2/4 Pro SE can be used as basic active 2-way crossover.
The parameters are limited:

• EQ Band1 can be switched to highpass or lowpass and tuned through the complete frequency range.
• EQ Band5 can be switched to lowpass and tuned down to 200 Hz (lower limit).
Can be used to increase steepness of the overall lowpass to 24 dB / Oct.
• 12 dB / Oct. filters only (exception above).
• Q-factor can help to smooth the overlap.
• PEQ can correct irregularities in the bands.
• Polarity of the bands can be inverted.
• Band levels can be adjusted individually, then locked or linked.

• No continuous phase adjustment.
• No delay for the individual outputs.
